The Lampasas County Historical Commission will celebrate Archaeology Month in Texas with a program on October 28, 2021, 7 pm, at the Lampasas Public Library. Boyce Cabaniss, LCHC member and archaeology enthusiast, will present a program entitled Historic and Pre-historic Archaeology in Lampasas County. He will support his presentation with many artifacts he has found during numerous digs. Following the program, he will answer questions from the audience. There is no cost for the presentation and a drawing will be held for an entertaining book, Legendary Watering Holes, The Saloons That Made Texas Famous by Selcer, Bowser, Hamilton and Parsons. Plan to attend this event as LCHC promotes the study of archaeology in Lampasas County.
